Tresor Attempto Racing shines in the Italian GT Sprint at Mugello

Luglio 15, 2025

14.07.2025 – Another positive weekend for Tresor Attempto Racing in the second round of the 2025 Italian GT Sprint Championship, held at the Mugello International Circuit, one of the most technical and spectacular tracks on the calendar.

The team led by Federico Geri confirmed its two official Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II entries, with Alberto Clementi Pisani (ITA) and Marco Cassarà (ITA) racing in AM on the #88, and the #99 entrusted to Fabio Rauer (GER) and Rocco Mazzola (ITA) in PRO.

Qualifying sessions saw the Tresor Attempto Racing drivers once again shine in the AM category. In Q1, Clementi Pisani secured pole position with a fastest lap of 1:47.557, while in Q2 Marco Cassarà set the second-fastest AM time in 1:46.909, confirming the crew’s strong potential and excellent feeling with the Tuscan track. Sessions proved more challenging for the #99, with Mazzola and Rauer both finishing ninth with times of 1:46.395 and 1:46.222 respectively.

In Race 1, the #88 capitalised on its pole position, dominating the AM class. Thanks to a perfect start and an effective pit stop, Clementi Pisani and Cassarà crossed the line first, claiming their second win of the season and valuable championship points. The #99 fought back from further down the grid, with Mazzola and Rauer completing a solid, consistent race to finish sixth overall.

Race 2 saw the #88 once again among the protagonists. Cassarà and Clementi Pisani battled until the chequered flag to secure a third-place finish in AM, adding another podium to the tally and extending their record to four podiums in four races so far. Another recovery drive for the #99 resulted in Rauer and Mazzola finishing eighth after a steady, consistent race, securing more crucial championship points.

Federico Geri, Team Principal Tresor Attempto Racing:
“Our weekend result is definitely positive. We collected a win and a second place in AM, maintaining the championship lead, and the #99 also showed progress despite starting further back. The whole team is working really well, the level is high, and there’s room to improve further already from the next round. We’ve gathered a lot of data which will help us prepare for the upcoming races.”

Tresor Attempto Racing will be back on track from 1st to 3rd August at Imola, for the third round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship, where Mazzola, Rauer and Cazzaniga currently lead the standings.
